- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30
- Friday: 07:00 – 13:00
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse or manufacturing experience who enjoys working within a structured and quality-focused operation.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting production through accurate picking, kitting, stock control, and material handling activities while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and kit components in line with production requirements
- Carry out quality checks on parts, quantities, and materials
- Ensure stock is stored correctly and FIFO processes are followed
- Maintain accurate stock control and traceability
- Operate FLT and Reach Trucks safely where authorised
- Support goods-in, packaging, and despatch activities
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow company procedures and health & safety standards at all times
- Support continuous improvement and problem-solving activities
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- FLT Counterbalance or Reach Truck licence beneficial,
- Willingness to be trained on Fork lift truck is essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow work instructions and processes
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to work as part of a team
- Experience using warehouse or ERP systems would be advantageous
